Mumbaikars came out in big numbers, braving rains to say goodbye to the beloved God on the occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. With colors, dance and the beats of drums, the city reverberated with full swing as devotees took final blessings from Ganesha.

The Ganesh Festival is a moment of extreme happiness for kids who play games, sing and dance on all the 10 days celebrating the Bappa's arrival in their homes. Naturally, his last day excites the kids even more.

The Girgaon Chowpaty is a sight to withhold on the day with big ganesha idols oming for the final showdown.

The entire procession was handled with a great support from the police who take care that everything went smoothly with little hassle to anyone.
