Netflix dropped the Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam Dhar starrer Dasvi
The two-minute trailer shows Gangaram Chaudhary, a politician who is put behind bars because of corrupt ways. After being ridiculed for his qualifications, he decides to take up the challenge to pursue education again while being in jail. The trailer shows glimpses of Chaudhary struggling to retrace back to books.
Yami Gautam plays the role of Jyoti Deswal, an IPS officer who always abides by the law and gives the egoistic politician a hard time behind bars. Meanwhile his wife Bimla Devi played by Nirmat Kaur, takes his position as the chief minister.
Will Chaudhary be able to cope up with books, politics and his wife who now wants to rule the state at the same time?
The film can stream April 7th, 2022 on the streaming-giant Netflix.
