1. Ranbir Kapoor’s Sexist Comment About Wife Alia Bhatt
While promoting Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor made a comment on Alia Bhatt’s baby bump saying she has “Phailoed’. Netizens took it as a sexist comment and did not like this act of body shaming by Ranbir as Alia was carrying their baby. Ranbir Kapoor was trolled by the netizens. Later, he apologized by saying, “I love my wife with everything that I have in my life. And what happened to that, I think it's a joke that didn't turn out to be funny. I really want to apologize if I have triggered anyone. It was not my intention. So I want to say sorry to people who got offended or triggered. I spoke to Alia about it and she really laughed it off and she didn't mind it. But I do have a bad sense of humor and sometimes it falls flat on my own face. So I am sorry if I have hurt anyone about it."

4. Protests broke out at Mahakaleshwar temple to stop Ranbir Kapoor from entering
Before the release of “Brahmastra”, Ranbir and Alia went to seek blessings at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. But protests broke out at the temple to stop the actor from entering the temple because of his old “I Love Beef” statement. As a reaction to the controversy, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that nobody had stopped Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt from entering and that the Bajrang Dal workers were protesting there for a different matter.

This remains the most controversial statement of Ranbir Kapoor. Revealing his private life, Ranbir Kapoor said that, he was 15 years old when he lost his virginity.
