November 5 marks the auspicious day of Guru Nanak Jayanti, the birth of the first Sikh guru who founded Sikhism. On this day, take a look at five Bollywood and Punjabi movies that were shot inside the iconic Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab.

1. Rang De Basanti
The multi-starrer movie, headlined by Aamir Khan, shot the Ik Onkar song inside the Golden Temple. This was one of the most goosebumps-worthy scenes from the film.
2. Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh
Karaan Guliani's romantic comedy, starring Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta, was also shot inside the iconic gurudwara.

3. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's romantic drama also had a scene shot inside the gurudwara. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi marked Anushka's debut film.
4. Once Upon a Time in Amritsar
Starring Dilpreet Dhillon, Gurjind Maan, and Pawan Malhotra, a scene from the Punjabi film was shot inside the Sri Harmandir Sahib, or Darbar Sahib.

6. Sarbjit
A few scenes from Omung Kumar's directorial were shot inside the infamous gurudwara. The movie is headlined by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, and Richa Chadha.
