Shashaa Tirupati and Sid Paul give Raat a delightful Tamil twist with Po Irave

Barely weeks following the release of their Hindi collaboration, ‘Raat’ which is climbing up the charts across leading music platforms, singer Shashaa Tirupati and music producer Sid Paul have rendered a pleasing Tamil spin to the track with ‘Po Irave’.
The Tamil lyrics have been penned by Mohan Rajan, a renowned name from the Tamil film music industry with an experience spanning over a decade.
Speaking about choosing to alternatively release the track in Tamil, Sid implies, “Over the time listening to the song, I felt Raat can be expressed in Tamil, which is my mother tongue too, while also keeping Shashaa’s audience in mind.”
Tamil is Shashaa’s stronghold having won her National Award for the song, ‘Vaan Varuvaan’ from the movie ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’, which was composed by maestro A.R. Rahman.
‘Po Irave’ is now streaming on Radio City Freedom.
