Team Radio City Freedom

The Great Indian Film and Literature Festival or the GIFLIF Indiestaan Music Festival, started in 2015, is a multi-city youth festival held in Gurgaon, Bhopal and Raipur. Organised by White Walls Media, the festival accommodates talks, film screenings, music concerts, plays, poetry recitals, storytelling sessions and book discussions among several other events. Writers Devdutt Pattanaik, Gulzar, Javed Akhtar and Ruskin Bond and actors Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Taapsee Pannu and Vinay Pathak are among those who have been part of the festival over the years.

The bands to have played the event include Alif, Agnee, Ballimaaraan, Indian Ocean, Kabir Café and Parvaaz. On account of the pandemic, the GIFLIF Indiestaan Music Festival was held in different avatars, at a drive-in in Bhopal in February 2021 (Drive-In Music Fest) and March 2022 (GIFLIF Comedy and Music Festival).

The festival will be held between 18 and 19 Feb this year at MPT DDX Drive-in Cinema, Bhopal. The artist line-up for this year’s festival include Lucky Ali, Thaikkudam Bridge, Anand Bhaskar Collective, Bombay Bandook, Kavish Seth and The Western Ghats.

At the last edition of the GIFLIF festival Bhopal enjoyed a carefully curated, never been done before, the COMEDY & MUSIC FEST on 27-28th of March, 2022. 8 artists, food & wine.
