Global multi genre touring music festival Lollapalooza has announced the lineup for its debut edition in India. American pop rock acts Imagine Dragons and post rock revival icons The Strokes have been announced as the headliners along with a stellar lineup of international and Indian artists. The list of international acts playing at the festival include American rock band Greta Van Fleet, dream pop exponents Cigarettes After Sex and Japanese Breakfast, K Pop idol Jackson Wang, EDM producers Diplo and Zhu, pop star Alec Benjamin and Canadin-Indian rapper AP Dhillon of Brown Munde fame. Along with the global superstars on display at the festival there will be a host of homegrown artists taking the stage which include Prateek Kuhad, DIVINE, Sandunes, Kayan, Kavya, Easy Wanderlings, Bloodywood, The F16s, Aswekeepsearching and more. 

Music fans were waiting eagerly for the Lallapalooza India lineup from the time the festival announced its official entry into the country back in July. The festival will be held on the 28 and 29 January 2023 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai. Lollapalooza India tickets are live and starts at INR 9999. 

Lollapalooza began in 1991 as the farewell tour of its founder Perry Farrel`s alt rock band Jane`s Addiction modelled on the popular Reading Festival held in the UK. Over the years the festival has undergone some changes and developed into a touring music festival showcasing multiple genres. Lollapalooza`s entry into India will be its eighth outpost after Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Sweden, France and Israel and the first in Asia.
