Yuzvendra Chahal`s savage response to Dhanashree`s `cheating` claim
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma`s divorce was probably one of the most controversial ones. There was a lot of indirect spat coming from both of them. However, it was in February that the duo officially announced their divorce.
While the cricketer stresses that he has moved on from his marriage, he recently dismissed Dhanashree`s "cheated within two months of marriage" claim on a reality show.
For the uninitiated, the choreographer-actor has participated in a reality show called Rise and Fall. In the show, she was asked by her co-contestant Kubbra Sait when she realised her marriage was not going to work out. To which, Verma replied, "First year."
"Caught him in the second month," she further elaborated, accusing the Indian bowler of not being loyal in his marriage. Now, Chahal has dismissed the claims with a savage reply.

The bowler said if he was indeed caught cheating, the marriage wouldn`t last for 4.5 years. The duo tied the knot in 2020 in an intimate ceremony.
“I am a sportsperson, and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mei hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life, and everyone else should, too,” the 35-year-old was quoted saying by HT City.

Yuzevndra further added, "Hamari shadi 4.5 years thi. Agar two months mei cheat hua hota toh kaun continue karta? Mai pehle bhi bol chuka hun ki mai past se nikal chuka hun. But some people are still stuck there. Abhi bhi kai log uss cheez ko pakde hue hain; abhi bhi unka ghar mere naam se chal raha hai, toh they can continue doing that. I am not concerned or affected. And I have a feeling this is the last time I am addressing that chapter of my life."
It was revealed that Dhanashree and Chahal were living separately before their divorce for 18 months due to compatibility issues.
