One of the most controversial and spoken-about actresses, Urvashi Rautela, has also turned into a great marketer after she promoted Daaku Maharaaj like no other. Despite a small role alongside an item number, she has been excitedly talking about the success of the film. However, it seems the marketing tactic did not turn out in her favor.
Nandamuri Balakrishna`s Daaku Maharaaj got its OTT release this week, and the internet has been going gaga over what the hype is. The movie is now streaming on Netflix in multiple languages.

Earlier, there were widespread rumors that Urvashi Rautela`s scenes were being removed from the streaming version. However, the OTT giant refuted the rumors by releasing a new announcement poster featuring the Bollywood diva.

The rumors of Urvashi not being a part of Daaku Maharaaj`s streaming version garnered some hilarious reactions from netizens. As soon as the first poster was dropped on the social media pages of Netflix, fans gathered to share their views.
One user wrote, “First Indian woman who is removed from the Netflix poster of Daku Maharaj!” while another commented, “Same Daaku Maharaj associated with that diamond-studded Rolex?”
Another comment read, “Lmaoo, the best promoter of the movie isn`t even in the poster.”
However, these rumors were put to rest after Netflix released another announcement poster featuring Urvashi in the collage. It seems to be a snippet from one of her scenes in the film. Have a look.

What is Daaku Maharaaj?
A Telugu action drama helmed by Bobby Kolli, Daaku Maharaaj is headlined by Balakrishna Nandmuri and Bobby Deol. It is produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios.
The film also stars Urvashi Rautela, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath in prominent roles.
Officially announced as NBK 109 in June 2023, the official title of the action drama was unveiled in November 2024. The film saw a theatrical release in January 2025 and received positive reviews. Daaku Maharaaj earned over 100 crore globally and became one of the top-grossing Telugu films of 2025.
