Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan in Nadaaniyan
Excitement is in the air as Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s much-awaited film, Nadaaniyan, finally gets a release date! The film is set to premiere on March 7, exclusively on Netflix. The announcement came with a fun new promo that has left fans eager for more. The official post read, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai aisi Nadaaniyan dekh kar. Watch `Nadaaniyan`, out 7 March, only on Netflix.”
Khushi Kapoor’s character, Pia Jai Singh, finds herself in the same predicament as Anjali (Kajol’s character) from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai—unable to answer. That’s when Ibrahim Ali Khan, playing Arjun Mehta, confidently takes over. Instead of the iconic “Pyaar dosti hai” line, he delivers a fresh take: “Pyaar ek arrangement hai.” This unexpected twist leaves Pia impressed, and in a surprising moment, she transfers 25,000 rupees to Arjun instantly. Then Khushi teases the viewers that to uncover the mystery behind this scene, fans will have to wait until the film’s release.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj. Produced by Karan Johar, alongside Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment, the movie seems to be following the nostalgic charm of Karan Johar’s previous romantic dramas.
This isn’t the first time Karan Johar has referenced his own films in new projects. His 2023 hit Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani included multiple Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham callbacks. Similarly, in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, he recreated the iconic Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol rain scene. With Nadaaniyan, Johar continues his tradition of blending nostalgia with contemporary storytelling.
With an intriguing plot, a promising young cast, and the signature touch of Dharma Productions, Nadaaniyan is set to be an exciting watch. Fans won’t have to wait too long—March 7 is just around the corner!
