Jawan became one of the highest-grossing Indian movies across the globe, after Pathaan. The film saw a monstrous opening and went on to collect over Rs. 1000 crore worldwide. Jawan was the second film to cross the 1000 crore mark, making
Shah Rukh Khan the only actor to deliver both blockbuster films.
Bollywood fans across the continents loved Jawan, so much so that it ended up being nominated for the Astra Film and Creative Arts Award (ASTRA Award) for 2024. It is the only Indian film to hop into the category.

The Atlee directorial saw a pan-Indian release and received a phenomenal response across all languages. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan also featured Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra,
Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover in prominent roles.
Deepika plays the role of SRK's mother, who was sentenced to death for attacking a policeman. Shah Rukh is seen in a dual role as Azad, the jailer at a women's prison, and Vikram Rathore, an ex-commando.
The film has collected over 761 crore in India and 368 crore overseas, amounting to a worldwide collection of 1148 crore. On its opening day, Jawan saw a monstrous opening of a record-breaking 65 crore in India.
Jawan released its extended version on Netflix in November of this year.
