When Alia Bhatt sought Shah Rukh Khan's help for Tum Kya Mile

on-screen romance before. Spilling some beans on their process, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant revealed how Shah Rukh helped Alia prepare for the song.
'Alia had herself gone and visited Shah Rukh for a day to learn this, because she'd never done a song like this, except a little bit of Ishq Wala Love in her first film (Student of the Year),' said
the choreographer.
When asked about
Ranveer Singh's prep process for Tum Kya Mile, Vaibhavi mentioned that it was challenging to put an energetic actor into a romantic box.
'He's never done a love song where he's looking all dreamy and looking at the heroine with dove eyes. I wanted to do an exercise in rehearsals with him," she further added.
About Tum Kya Mile
The Arijit Singh-Shreya Ghoshal song was the first from the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani album to be released. It brought back the evergreen Yash Chopra era of romance. The melody was composed by Pritam, and the lyrics were penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Tum Kya Mile was shot in the majestic mountains of Kashmir amidst heavy snowfall. Alia looks stunning in
Manish Malhotra-designed chiffon sarees, while Ranveer looks suave in stylish jackets and overcoats.
This was Karan Johar's way to pay homage to the iconic filmmaker Yash Chopra. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani continues to get rave reviews as it has collected over 100 crores worldwide.
