Sam Bahadur is expected to open at over 5 crore at the box office as it faces a huge challenge from Animal, which has gotten an extremely good pre-release buzz. While both films are completely different in terms of the subject matter, Animal has generated more excitement due to its appealing trailer and Ranbir Kapoor's comeback.

Animal is rated 'A' due to its mature themes, while Sam Bahadur is rated 'UA'.
