The trailer for Sam Bahadur was released yesterday, and it has been getting praise from all over the world from the fans of Vicky Kaushal, who cannot wait to witness the film on the big screens. Vicky plays Army General Sam Manekshaw in the film.

The trailer was unveiled on Tuesday in Delhi in the presence of Meghna Gulzar. Co-actors Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh were also present during the launch. After the trailer was shown to everyone in the media, the team spoke with the media and answered some of their questions.

While speaking of the difficulties he faced while shooting for the film and playing the character, Vicky Kaushal explained his journey of transformation to Sam Manekshaw. He also brought in his wife, Katrina Kaif, into his story and told everyone how she played an important part during the shoot.

While speaking of Katrina, he said, "Ek magic recipe maine bataya nahin apne prep ke bare har shot se pehle main phone karta tha fir mujhe vo pep talk deti thi aur fir main vo shot mein jata tha (I have not shared one magic recipe with you about the prep. I would call before every shot, and she would give me a pep talk, then I'd go for the shot."

Much to the amusement of the media persons sitting there, Vicky Kaushal shared this adorable story of how Katrina provided him support and was there for him to push him towards playing the difficult part.

This is not the first time the two are seen standing behind each other's backs. Ever since they got married in December 2021, both of them have shared stories of how their bond is built on mutual respect and growth.

In one interview he gave in the past, Vicky Kaushal also spoke at length about maintaining relationships despite the tiring routine of the film industry.

He said, "The con is that sometimes you are both shooting for a film and it's going non-stop, and sometimes a month can pass without us having spent time with each other. Sometimes, I can have day shoots and she can have night shoots, so when I return from work, she leaves, and we don't get any time with each other despite living under the same roof."

Sam Bahadur releases on December 1 and clashes at the box office with Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor.
