The team shared their passion in a heartfelt message, stating, “Ten years of Aspiration. Relentless Conviction to bring the Greatest Epic of all time to the world. An outcome through a collaboration of some of the world’s best to ensure that the Ramayana is presented with the greatest amount of reverence and respect. Welcome to the Beginning. Let’s celebrate the IMMORTAL story of Rama v/s Ravana (sic).”
The three-minute video gives us our first look at Ranbir Kapoor as the noble Lord Ram and Yash as the formidable Ravana. Ranbir’s calm yet powerful demeanour has already won immense praise, while Yash’s intense and grand portrayal perfectly captures the essence of the mighty antagonist. The teaser also features the accomplished Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita.
Though the glimpse avoids revealing actual footage, its breathtaking visuals and elaborate VFX, reminiscent of epic shows like Game of Thrones, set a magnificent tone. The powerful score, a collaboration between musical maestros Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, further elevates the experience.
