upcoming film Amar Singh Chamkila, the actress became a victim to rumors regarding her pregnancy as she chose to wear an oversized kaftaan dress.
Parineeti Chopra, who tied the knot last year in September with politician Raghav Chadha, looked stunning in oversized black attire. However, a section of fans were left wondering if the actress was likely to take the family route.
Rubbishing the rumors, the Ishaqzaade actress slammed those who misconstrued a piece of clothing as a sign of pregnancy.

The actress, who is busy promoting her upcoming film,
Amar Singh Chamkila, was seen wearing a rather comfy black oversized kaftaan dress. This left fans wondering if she was expecting her first child.
She was amused by how a piece of clothing can leave fans speculating. Taking it to her Instagram stories, Parineeti dismissed her pregnancy rumors and wrote, "Kaftan dress=pregnancy, oversized shirt=pregnancy, comfy Indian kurta = pregnancy," followed by a laughing out loud emoji.
On Tuesday, the Meri Pyaari Bindu actress took to Instagram and shared a post. She looked gorgeous in an all-white bodycon blazer set.

After flaunting her well-fitted outfit, the video then jumped to photos of her in the black oversized dress that sparked the rumors.
Sharing the video, Parineeti Chopra captioned her post, "Entering my fitted clothes era." As soon as the video went up, fans started flooding the comments section.
One user wrote, "Btaoo... kapde bhi ab logo ki soch se wear krne padenge," while another commented, "Don't give them so much attention."
Parineeti Chopra gained 10 kg for Amar Singh Chamkila
The actress gained 10 kilograms for her character, Amarjot Kaur. For this, Amar Singh Chamkila's director, Imtiaz Ali, asked her to eat samosas and chaat in order to gain weight.
The filmmaker, who is pretty particular about how a character should look in his films, opened up about how Parineeti Chopra was always his first choice for the film.

During one of the promotional events, Imtiaz said, "Parineeti was the No. 1 choice. Thankfully, when I met her, she said, 'I have been waiting for five years to do a film where I could sing'. I said, 'This is such a film'. She said, 'I am on', and I said, 'wow'. And then we started realizing, Ki yaar iski shakal bhi milti hai thodi bahut Amarjot se."
"Phir maine bola, bahut asaan kaam hai, samose, malai, chaat, yeh saare khaane shuru kar do (that her face is also similar to Amarjot). Then I told her that it's very easy just start having samosas, malai, and chaat you have to gain some 10 kilos of weight," he further added.
Imtiaz Ali also credited both Parineeti and
Diljit Dosanjh (who plays Amar Singh Chamkila) for going to lengths that probably no other actor would have done.
"But this is something that no girl would have done, no guy would have done. It is very tough for an actor to put on so much weight, so thank you very much to both of you," the filmmaker concluded.
Amar Singh Chamkila releases on April 12 on Netflix.
