Neha Kakkar`s cryptic post leaves internet confused
Neha Kakkar has been in the news once again for breaking the internet with her short-lived stint of drawing attention. On Monday, the singer shared a couple of cryptic stories on Instagram, leaving fans intrigued.
She deleted the same within a few minutes, confusing her followers and forcing them to wonder what`s going on.
In the first story, Neha wrote, "Time to take a break from responsibilities, relationships, work and everything I can think of right now. Not sure if I`ll be back or not. Thank you."
The second read, "I request paparazzi and fans not to film me at all. I hope you respect my privacy and let me live freely in this world. No cameras, please! I request this is the least you all can give me for my peace."

The internet is zapped and confused as to why Kakkar shared these stories only to delete them within minutes. Many are guessing this emotional breakdown is an outcome of the backlash she faced for her last song, Candy Shop.
The track that marked a collaboration with her brother, Tony Kakkar, drew significant trolling, with many calling it "cringe", "vulgar", and an unsuccessful attempt at mimicking international aesthetics, particularly K-pop artists.
Many even criticised the dance moves and costumes, calling it an act of drawing unnecessary attention.
Notably, this isn`t the first time Neha Kakkar has had a public meltdown. Earlier in 2025, a video of the Kar Gayi Chull singer breaking down on a stage in Melbourne went viral after she arrived late at the concert.
While she blamed the organisers, she couldn`t handle the audience booing her on stage and broke down.
Neha Kakkar is popularly known for songs like Manali Trance, Aankh Maarey, Dilbar, Hauli Hauli, and Morni Banke. She is currently a judge on music reality shows.
