The much-anticipated first looks for two of his upcoming films, the grand pan-Indian project Vrusshabha and the family entertainer Hridayapoorvam, were unveiled, sending waves of excitement across the internet.
The star of the show was undoubtedly Vrusshabha. Mohanlal himself dropped the first look poster and a motion poster for this pan-Indian spectacle directed by Nanda Kishore. The striking visuals feature the actor in regal armour, wielding a sword, promising a film of epic proportions.

Billed as “a larger-than-life saga, set to redefine epic storytelling in Indian cinema”, Vrusshabha boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Shanaya Kapoor, Zara Khan, Roshan Meka, Srikanth Meka, and Ragini Dwivedi. The film`s music is scored by Sam CS, with Antony Samson handling cinematography and KM Prakash as the editor. Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, Connekkt Media, and AVS Studios, Vrusshabha is slated for a theatrical release on October 16, 2025. This announcement finally gave fans a concrete update on the fantasy film, which is also produced by Varun Mathur.
