Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra actress Kalyani Priyadarshan thanks her team and fans
The most-awaited `Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra` is out in theatres, and cinephiles cannot keep calm. The first-ever Malayalam female-led superhero film, headlined by Kalyani Priyadarshan, has already been garnering great reviews.
The movie raised its bar, thanks to its impeccable trailer filled with high-octane action, intense mystery, and all things drama. Apart from the actress, the film also stars Tovino Thomas, Arun Kurian, and Naslen, among others, in pivotal roles.
Just before the release of Lokah Chapter 1, Kalyani penned a sweet note thanking her team, the cast and crew of the film, and her fans.
Kalyani Priyadarshan`s heartfelt note
The actress took to Instagram and shared a rather emotional note, thanking her entire team and fans for unconditional love and support. She called herself `lucky` to have worked with some great minds in Malayalam cinema.
Her note started with, "To my team, this wasn’t just a film for any of us. Every single person poured themselves into making Lokah what it is, and I’m lucky that I got to work alongside you all. You’ve seen me at my lowest…when I failed multiple times…when I broke down, when I cried. You’ve also been there, cheering the loudest, when I succeeded or managed to push past something hard. And through all of it, every moment I spent with you was a joy I’ll never forget."

Priyadarshan also requested the audience to like the film for what it is and not only because they`re her fans.
She continued, "To our audiences: just because we worked like this, it doesn’t mean that you need to like the film for that reason. What we truly hope is that you experience Lokah as a story in itself. And that for two and a half hours, you can leave behind your world and immerse yourself in ours. I hope you’ll understand Chandra the way I was made to. And if I can say one more thing (to safeguard your experience of the film) – please try and watch without looking for spoilers online. Tomorrow, she is coming. Tomorrow, she belongs to you."

For those who are unaware, the latest superhero flick is helmed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan`s production house, Wayfarer Films. The production house plans to produce a superhero series after Lokah.
