The moment fans worldwide have been waiting for has arrived – Shah Rukh Khan, the undisputed `King Khan` of Bollywood, just made his grand entrance at the Met Gala 2025. Marking a significant milestone, SRK became the first Indian male actor to grace the prestigious steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for fashion`s biggest night. His debut was not just a personal triumph but a moment of pride for Indian representation on a global stage.
Adding signature Sabyasachi flair, SRK accessorised with layered jewellery, including multiple rings and prominent gold necklaces – one featuring his initials `SRK` and another an oversized `K pendant`. He completed the look with sunglasses and a dandy cane topped with the Bengal Tiger Head, crafted in 18k gold and studded with precious gems.

This year`s Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”, with the dress code “Tailored for You”, celebrated Dandyism – a menswear style prominent in Black culture during the 18th and 19th centuries, known for its tailored, elegant silhouettes. SRK`s bespoke suit perfectly captured this essence.
Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who also walked the blue carpet (made in Kerala for the third time) for his second Met Gala appearance, shared insights into the look. Calling Shah Rukh Khan "one of the greatest superstars in the world," he stated, "My interpretation of the Black Dandy is demonstrating his super stardom on a global stage... Shah Rukh Khan is a magician, superstar, and icon. Period.” Sabyasachi himself wore a layered ensemble featuring a trench coat and an overcoat with a trail.
