Season 2 of the much-awaited Netflix's Lust Stories is scheduled to release next year, which will feature Mrunal Thakur and Angad Bedi in the lead roles in one of the segments. The anthology series will have 4 short films directed by R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Ravindernath Sharma.

While the title of Balki's story is yet to be known, the short film will reportedly be a light-hearted comedy film, in which the director will be seen exploring the emotional aspect of 'lust' rather than sexual.

As per the sources,"Mrunal and Angad's short film has elements of drama and romance with a touch of a slice-of-life element in it. The main theme of the film is lust, as in not sexual, but the emotion of lust. Balki has a peculiar way of storytelling, so it will be interesting to see his take on lust.'

For those who don't know, Lust Stories Season 1 which was released in 2018, had four short film segments directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. The cast included Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, and Kiara Advani with Akash Thosar, Vicky Kaushal, and others.
