The latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8 featured Bollywood besties Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. The duo, who made their Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Student of the Year, referred to him as their 'guru'. The two have come a long way since their debut, finding success and prosperity in their personal and professional lives.

However, the couch of the 'Students' was incomplete without Alia Bhatt, who also made her debut with the film. Surprisingly, Alia joined the two for a brief period through a video call. During the interaction that followed, she thanked Sidharth for one really special thing.

Alia and Sidharth were dating for a brief time after Student of the Year, and they were close. During Koffee With Karan 8, she showered her love on her old friend.

She said, "Sid (Sidharth Malhotra) is actually a really good singer. He is a very healthy person, so he doesn't party at all, but he is the best person to get a party started, so this is the inherent punjabi in him. He just knows how to get people going he's really good. Also, he is really hilarious he is the first person to fall asleep at his own birthday party.

Further, she added about some special qualities about Sidharth and what makes him so adorable. She said, "Sid takes a while to open up, so there is a distance. He says hi, hello, very chivalrous, very well-mannered that's generally how he is. The basic thing is that he has very warm and kind eyes. That is also why he has such a massive fan following."

And then she thanked him for her 'first love'. "I am very thankful to Sid, because he has given me the first love of my life, Edward." Edward is the adorable cat that Sid gifted Alia when the two were together.

On multiple occasions, Sidharth has expressed his love for Edward and how he misses him. Last season, when he was asked about the one thing he misses about his ex, he said, 'her cat'.

This lovely exchange between the ex-couples was heartwarming. Sidharth is now married to Kiara Advani, and the two tied the knot earlier this year in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan.
