Kim Soo-hyun Controversy
The swirling controversy surrounding Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron continues to capture headlines, with the actor now vehemently denying claims stemming from a resurfaced 2017 photograph. Amidst escalating accusations, Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has issued a detailed statement, aiming to set the record straight.
“However, the person in the photo is not Kim Soo-hyun but someone else. HoverLab claimed that the outfit worn by the person in the photo is similar to a product that Kim Soo-hyun advertised in the past. However, the outfit in the photo is from a different brand than the one Kim Soo-hyun advertised." Gold Medalist firmly asserts that the man in the picture is not Soo-hyun.
The agency`s statement goes further, addressing claims that Soo-hyun frequently visited Sae-ron`s apartment. "We believe it is unnecessary for our company to respond to baseless allegations based on a photo posted on a fan account, where the face is not even visible, that was brought to light.”
“However, the family has made new claims that Kim Soo-hyun frequently visited the apartment where Kim Sae-ron lived with her family and secretly met when her family was not home based on this photo that does not even show a face. Kim Soo-hyun has never been to the location that HoverLab directly pointed out as `this elevator`. It was HoverLab that went there, not Kim Soo-hyun."
The agency also addressed the question of Sae-ron`s aunt. They have asked her family "to stop the act of attributing all sorts of non-existent lies based on a single photo unrelated to the essence of the incident or a post found online."

Furthermore, the agency addressed allegations of a 700 million won "penalty" debt Sae-ron supposedly owed. Gold Medalist clarified that this issue was resolved last year, prior to Sae-ron`s death in February, which followed a period of financial hardship after a drunk driving incident.
The agency also shared that no one from his agency, including himself, threatened or put any kind of pressure on the late artist. They have accused the late actors` family of spreading false information.

A Picture and a Denial
At the heart of the dispute is a 2017 photo, allegedly showing Soo-hyun with Sae-ron. "HoverLab once again claimed through their YouTube channel that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron during her minor years based on a photo posted on June 23, 2017, by a fan of Kim Sae-ron on social media.”“However, the person in the photo is not Kim Soo-hyun but someone else. The Backstory and Rising Tensions
The current uproar began when Sae-ron posted, then quickly deleted, a photo of herself with Soo-hyun, sparking rumours of a past romantic relationship. Reports had surfaced suggesting Sae-ron was 15 and Soo-hyun, 27, at the time of the picture.Furthermore, the agency addressed allegations of a 700 million won "penalty" debt Sae-ron supposedly owed.
