In a rare moment of vulnerability, Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan has opened up about the traumatic stabbing incident involving her husband, Saif Ali Khan. The shocking event, which saw Saif attacked in his own home, sent ripples through the industry. Now, months later, Kareena reveals how her family, especially her young sons, are navigating the emotional aftermath of the harrowing ordeal.
The initial months were fraught with sleepless nights and a struggle to regain a sense of normalcy. Kareena explained her conscious effort to shield her children, Taimur and Jeh, from her own stress. “I don`t want to live in that fear for my children because that`s also wrong to put that stress onto them,” she stated, highlighting the delicate balance she had to strike between being a worried wife and a protective mother.

The terrifying incident occurred in the early hours of January 16, 2025, when an intruder broke into their Mumbai residence. Saif was stabbed multiple times, leading to a gruelling 2.5-hour neurosurgery and plastic surgery at Lilavati Hospital. For the first time, Kareena has publicly shared the deep-seated anxiety she faced. “I am still kind of struggling with what it does to see someone there in your child`s room,” she confessed during a session at We The Women.The initial months were fraught with sleepless nights and a struggle to regain a sense of normalcy.
