Kalki 2898 AD Big Announcement: Saregama Music Will Be the Film`s Official Music Partner
Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most anticipated films of 2024. The film stars Baahubali star Prabhas, alongside some of the top names of Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone. The film is set to release theatrically on June 27 in India. In the wake of the film’s release, the makers of Kalki made an exciting announcement about the film. The audio rights for the upcoming Nag Ashwin directorial have been acquired by Saregama Music, one of the top music labels in India.
The filmmakers announced the news about Saregama taking over the auditory rights on their X handle. They wrote, “Piqued to join forces with the stellar team #Kalki2898AD. From the sands of time to the beats of eternity, #Kalki2898ADMusicOnSaregama.”
Santosh Narayanan has composed the tunes for the movie. Earlier, a small teaser video was released for the film, featuring Amitabh Bachchan. In the teaser, Big B is portrayed as the Mahabharata warrior Ashwatthama, who has been awaiting the return of Kalki.
From the promotional videos released by the filmmakers, it can be concluded that Kalki 2898 AD will be a mythology-based futuristic fiction drama. However, more details about the same can be understood only after the official trailer release.

Since the past few days, rumours about a grand pre-release event for the film have been ripe. It is being reported that the makers are planning a huge event at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City some time at the end of this month. This grand event will be followed by four more events across India to promote the film. Amidst that, the announcement about the music label has also mounted the excitement surrounding the film’s soundtrack. Now, fans are highly excited about Kalki’s music release.
Kalki 2898 AD is reported to be one of the costliest films made in India. The upcoming, highly anticipated film is being made on a budget of 600 crore rupees. The film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles. Kalki is written and directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.
Kalki marks the third collaboration between Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, after the duo gave us hits like Piku and Aarakshan. Amitabh and Deepika will also be seen in the Bollywood remake of the Hollywood film `The Intern`, which stars Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway.
