Jaat Movie Review: Watch or Skip?
Jaat movie
Sunny Deol returns to the big screen with Jaat, which was released on April 10. The movie also features Randeep Hooda in a leading role.
Jaat has been described as a South-style entertainer, as Gopichand Malineni makes his Bollywood directorial debut. Saiyami Kher also plays a key role.
Jaat story
Knowing Sunny Deol`s larger-than-life aura, the film is extra. It starts with him demanding an apology from the goons disturbing his peaceful breakfast.
What starts as a Dhaba scuffle ends up landing him in a political mess that reaches New Delhi and, ultimately, a face-off between Sunny and Randeep.
Jaat movie review
While Gopichand Malineni tries to bring in South-style action and masala to Bollywood, Sunny Deol`s "dhai kilo ka haath" doesn`t leave a powerful impact.
Malineni presents Randeep Hooda as the menacing villain in familiar territory. It is the powerful background score that adds an extra dramatic effect.
Jaat movie: Watch or skip?
While Sunny Deol`s admirers might like the film, those seeking novelty, Jaat is not it. It is a dated plot with probably better packaging.
