Gurucharan Singh`s Father On His Last Conversation With The TMKOC Actor
In a recent update on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh, his father talked about how he was unaware of his son’s financial situation. Recent reports suggest that Gurucharan Singh was operating more than 10 bank accounts to make payments.
Likewise, the television actor applied for new credit cards to pay off the bills from his previous transactions.
This shocking information comes amid the sudden disappearance of the TMKOC actor who played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the sitcom. For the uninitiated, Gurucharan Singh was last seen at the Delhi airport on April 22. He was flying to Mumbai but never reached the destination.
Gurucharan Singh missing case: Father recalls last conversation
With the Delhi police trying to solve the mysterious case, a recent update sheds light on the actor`s last conversation with his father, Hargit Singh.
Hargit Singh, Gurucharan’s father, was quoted as saying, “I had no idea about my son`s financial situation. He never told me anything about it. So I am not aware of all this. I am sure if the police have found something, they will inform me. Meri umar aisi hai ki meri tabiyat theek nahi rehti hai (My age is such that I`m not in good health). It`s been many days now, and there has been no positive response in this case. We are just waiting for him to come back.”
Gurucharan Singh plays the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular daily soap Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma. The actor was returning from Delhi to Mumbai after meeting his parents when he went missing. His parents were the ones to file a missing police report.

The father also recalled his last conversation with his son. He said that Gurucharan Singh was visiting Delhi for his father’s birthday celebration on April 21.

His father continued, “The next day, he was supposed to fly to Mumbai. He told me,`mai aa jaunga. 1-2 din me aa jaunga [I will come back in 1 or 2 days]`. After that, we don`t know what happened. Kuch pata nahi chal rha (We are not getting any information).”
Hargit Singh also mentioned that Gurucharan Singh appeared to be disturbed and anxious at times, but he never shared anything with his parents.
Singh also added, “I asked him to tell me if something was wrong. Koi dikkat hai kisi cheez ki to maa baap se nahi chupate (You should not hide anything from your parents). Everyone will leave you, but not your parents."

A few days ago, the Delhi Police visited the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in Mumbai for an investigation. There, the police talked to several of his fellow actors from the show.
One source gave information about the police`s investigation, saying, “This week, Delhi police visited our sets and spoke with the actors who were in touch with Gurucharan Singh. Everyone has cooperated well with the police. Also, there were some rumors related to Gurucharan Singh’s payments being due from the production house. But the police found that the payment of the actor was cleared long ago.”
