BTS Suga to Be Discharged on June 21; BigHit Music Issues Statement

As the eagerly anticipated discharge date for BTS member Suga approaches, the group`s agency, BigHit Music, has released a formal statement regarding the end of his social service duties. The rapper, who has been serving as a social work personnel, is expected to be discharged on June 21.
In their statement on the fan community platform Weverse, BigHit Music expressed their gratitude to the fans while outlining specific guidelines for the day of his return.
The agency strongly urged fans to refrain from visiting his place of service to prevent any safety issues. "Overcrowding can pose safety risks, and we sincerely request our fans not to visit the sites in person. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts," the statement continued.
This request is standard procedure for the agency, which prioritises the safety of both the artists and their dedicated fanbase, known as ARMY.

His discharge marks the final piece of the puzzle for BTS`s full reunion. The other six members have already completed their mandatory military service. Jin, the eldest, was the first to be discharged in June of last year, followed by J-Hope in October 2024. More recently, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were all discharged in the same week earlier this month.
The group was recently seen together publicly for the first time in a long while, attending J-Hope`s concert in Seoul. While all members were present to show their support, only Jin and Jungkook joined J-Hope on stage for a special performance, delighting fans.
As Suga prepares to return, fans are buzzing with excitement for the group`s future activities, with hopes high for new music and performances from the septet in the near future. In a recent voice message, Suga shared his own anticipation, telling fans, "I`ve been spending my time waiting for the day I get to see you again. I miss you so much."

We are excited to bring you the news of SUGA`s upcoming Social Work discharge. SUGA is close to completing his service as a Social Work Personnel and will soon be discharged.
