Gaurav Khanna`s father wanted to slap Farrhana Bhatt
Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna has been garnering several eyeballs after he took home the glorious trophy and a whopping cash prize. On Sunday, December 7, the television actor was crowned the winner of the Salman Khan-hosted show.
While the season is over, the controversies continue to linger, as Gaurav and Farrhana Bhatt`s fights became one of the most-spoken-about topics.
Now, Khanna`s father expressed his fury against his co-contestants and slammed Bhatt for her disrespectful behaviour on the show and opened up about how he is proud of his son`s journey.
Gaurav Khanna`s father slams Farrhana Bhatt
In a conversation with IANS, the Anupamaa actor`s father said, “Contestants like Zeishan Quadri and Abhishek Bajaj were quite aggressive, resulting in numerous confrontations between them and Gaurav. However, I was aware that Gaurav would handle everything independently, as within that house, no one can assist you; you need to defend yourself.”

When questioned if it angered him seeing his son targeted, he shared, "I was indeed very angry when Farrhana Bhatt ridiculed him and referred to him as a ‘superstar’ in a disrespectful manner. She doubted his profession and his success as a television actor. That really bothered me."
"At that point, even Gaurav`s fury was evident; his neck veins were bulging. Had I been present, I’m unsure how I would have reacted. I may have even hit Farhana," he added.
Gaurav`s father on his strategic game
The elated father also shared how Gaurav Khanna`s calm nature, in a place where everyone only fought, made him immensely proud.
"At first, I didn`t particularly like seeing him play indoors. There were excessive arguments, and I couldn`t comprehend why he was participating. Yet, after witnessing him manage challenges and even triumph over others, I understood he was doing so with a composed mindset. Fighting goes against his nature completely, so witnessing him remain calm filled me with pride," he concluded.
Hosted on December 7, Gaurav Khanna was crowned the winner of the Bigg Boss 19 finale, surpassing the other four contestants – Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, and Amaal Mallik.
