It has been a while since we saw Ranbir Kapoor in a rugged, badass mode. Rockstar was his last stint where he donned the good boy gone bad role. The actor is back with a bang with his most anticipated action-drama Animal.

On Sunday, the makers dropped a pre-teaser of Animal and showed Ranbir Kapoor in a boy gone wild mode. Swinging axe and spilling blood, the actor has certainly risen fans and moviegoers' expectations.

Animal Pre-Teaser

The teaser starts with a bunch of people wearing similar clothes - a white shirt, black waistcoats, and ties were seen ganging up against Ranbir. They even wore gaudy golden masks and held an axe to attack the Brahmastra actor.

The fight sequence begins with Ranbir taking a fire axe and wielding it in style, thus killing several masked men. While some escaped, others were brutally murdered.

The Tu jhoothi Main Makkar actor was seen wearing a white kurta, dhoti, and sneakers. He sported long hair and his face was scarred with several blood marks. For a moment, Ranbir gave a death stare at the camera.

Experts' Take On Animal Pre-Teaser

As soon as the makers dropped the clip from Animal, several movie critics and trade experts shared their two cents on it. One of them was Taran Adarsh.

Taking it to Twitter, he wrote, "Ranbir Kapoor: Animal pre-teaser is here. Will keep it short and simple, after watching the first glimpse of #Animal: A storm is coming. Fans React To Pre-Teaser Of Animal

The pre-teaser of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has already excited the fans. Reacting to the clip, a fan wrote, "Definitely intriguing and solid for a pre-teaser!"

Another user commented, "For this massey fight and high elevation action they should have written a different mass song or Massy BGM then it should have been another level, even now it's extraordinary and Mass. Waiting for #Animal movie."

The action-drama also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. The actress took to Instagram and shared the pre-teaser.

Her caption read, "Are you ready? We are just getting started! #2MonthsToAnimal #Animal in cinemas on 11th August!"
