Paparazzi's favorite Karan Johar is intending to make a smashing comeback with the eighth season of his famous chat show 'Koffee with Karan' and the opening episode is going to be a splendid one. He is all set to surprise fans with his grand episode with his favorite stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.


Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor To Kickstar Koffee With Karan 8?

The reports suggest that Brahmastra couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expected to appear in the first episode of the eighth season of the show. While the power couple of Bollywood might kickstart the chat show, Karan Johar also wants to have Shah Rukh Khan as one of his first guests on the Koffee couch.

He is planning to converse about their married life and parenthood with them on the show. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt has opened the last three editions of Koffee with Karan.

The filmmaker wants her for this season as well. In the previous season, Alia and Ranveer Singh graced the first episode. Karan Johar is also planning to not miss out on his regulars - Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, and others for season 8.

Ranbir Kapoor Refused To Appear On Koffee With Karan

Well, some reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor will make a comeback on the chat show after he refused to do so. He was present in an episode of one of the previous seasons of the show and spoke negatively about it.

He criticized Karan Johar for making money out of the guests. If reports are to be believed then in 2017, in a podcast of the leading media agency, the actor declared that he was forced to attend Karan's show. He made a plan with actress Anushka Sharma to go on a protest and bring the whole film industry against Koffee With Karan jointly because they think it's not acceptable.

Ranbir Kapoor also believes it is not respectable that actors appear on the show as guests just to get roasted by the filmmaker. The Brahmastra actor also mentioned,'He is making money out of us. We come and we get screwed through the year. And it's not right."

But as of now, the actor is going to appear on the first episode of the show with his wife Alia Bhatt. Rumors also suggest Shah Rukh Khan may also feature either in the first episode of Koffee With Karan season 8 or in the last one. However, only time will tell what's true and what's just another gossip.
