Amitabh Bachchan was rushed to the hospital during the wee hours of Friday as he underwent an angioplasty. He was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai.
However, as per the hospital sources, the angioplasty wasn't performed on his heart but to remove a clot in his leg. The current status of Amitabh Bachchan's health is kept from the media's attention.
The actor, who is highly active on X (formerly known as Twitter), took to the platform and tweeted this morning. He wrote, ''In gratitude ever.'' Have a look.

'Now with age, the ridicule has lessened. Now with time, those that are asked or brought into the picture by me are convinced that the man is 81, old, decrepit, and mentally ill. Bear him. It won't be for long... and the responses go on with a sense of... poor guy, so uninformed, let him be, etc., etc.,' he wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan further added, "Also, the temerity to seek and voice matters that may never have been done earlier has reached the stage of a fearless disposition."
