As soon as he tweeted about expressing gratitude, fans and Twitteratis started worrying about Big B`s health. While expressing concerns, a user wrote, ``I pray that you stay healthy."

Amitabh Bachchan has a loyal fan following, which grows at a rapid speed every passing day. The actor makes sure to step out every Sunday at his residence to greet his fans outside Jalsa. He keeps on sharing heartwarming moments on social media regularly.

Amitabh Bachchan on being less ridiculed

He is probably one of the most popular actors, with around 190 films under his credit. With fame comes the utmost criticism, and Big B is no exception. The actor, who will turn 81 in October, took to his personal blog and wrote about how people are criticizing him less as he grows older.

“Now with age, the ridicule has lessened. Now with time, those that are asked or brought into the picture by me are convinced that the man is 81, old, decrepit, and mentally ill. Bear him. It won’t be for long... and the responses go on with a sense of... poor guy, so uninformed, let him be, etc., etc.,” he wrote.

Amitabh Bachchan further added, "Also, the temerity to seek and voice matters that may never have been done earlier has reached the stage of a fearless disposition."

On the work front

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Goodbye, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta. He will next be seen in Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD.

He also has Ayan Mukerji`s Brahmastra Part 2 alongside Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Mouni Roy. Big B will further share the screen with Rajinikanth in Vettaiyan.

Radio City wishes him a speedy and safe recovery.
