Ankita Lokhande who won viewers' hearts and became an instant favorite. After ruling the reality TV show, the actress will now be seen in this upcoming blockbuster film.
For the uninitiated, this was Ankita Lokhande's first season of Bigg Boss.
Her husband, Vicky Jain, was also a contestant in the house. While they are an adorable couple, the show showcased another side of their relationship.
Ankita had a triumphant stint on the show. Her mindful strategy and strategic performance in every task made her one of the smartest contestants. However, she was evicted right before the finale.
Munawar Faruqui, Manara Chopra, and Abhishek Kumar were in the running for the trophy.
Ankita Lokhande to star in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar
On Tuesday, January 30, the actress took to her Instagram handle and shared some interesting news. She announced her next project, which happens to be Randeep Hooda's directorial debut.

Sharing the post on Instagram,
the Manikarnika actress wrote, "Bringing light to the lost leader from the chapters of history! Starting a new chapter right after BB17 feels extra special. I am grateful to be a part of this project alongside @RandeepHooda, produced by @anandpandit63 and @ZeeStudios_. Don't miss out on the date, March 22, 2024, in your nearby theaters."
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar also features Amit Sial in a key role. Releasing on March 22, 2024, the film will be released in Hindi and Marathi.

On Tuesday, Ankita took to Instagram and shared a rather emotional video highlighting her journey in the
Bigg Boss 17 house. She gave her fans a recap of the last few months of the show.
Her caption read, "Ek journey jo shuru hui thi Pavitra Rishta se, ab aur bhi zyada yaadgaar bann gayi 'Rishton Wali Ladki' ke pehechaan se! Mere liye haar ya jeet utni matter nahi karti, jitna aapka support karta hai aur aapke hi pyaar ne yaha tak pohochaya hai.
