Ankita Lokhande has spoken about Sushant Singh Rajput on multiple occasions in Bigg Boss 17. In conversations with Munawar Faruqui, she has revealed some personal details about their relationship and shed light on Sushant's personality.

Now, in the new episode, she told Munawar how she didn't go to his funeral as she couldn't gather the courage. Munawar was telling her how he had attended a special screening of MS Dhoni: An Untold Story at Yash Raj Studios, where Sushant Singh Rajput was also present.

To this, Ankita expressed her surprise and said, "Bohot acha insaan tha woh. He was a good man. Main aise bolti hu na kabhi, tha, mujhe itna ajeeb lagta hai. Matlab abhi toh theek hai normal ho gaya hai, pehle bahut ajeeb lagta tha. Whenever I use the word 'was' for him, I feel so strange. (I mean, now it's okay it's normal, but it wasn't earlier.)"

She further said how Vicky insisted on going to Sushant's funeral, as Vicky was also his friend. She said it was just difficult to imagine that he was no longer alive.

Munawar then asked her if she knew what was exactly wrong with Sushant, which prompted him to take that decision. To this end, Ankita expressed her hesitation and didn't answer at first. But then, when Munawar told her that he was not asking for details, Then, she replied in the positive that she knew what was wrong with Sushant Singh Rajput.

Earlier, Munawar was reciting some poetry when Ankita got emotional and asked him not to bring out such lines as they hit you differently. But then she started singing the lines from Sushant's film, 'Kaun Tujhe Yun Pyaar Karega'.

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were dating during the days of Pavitra Rishta, where they played the lead roles. They were together for over 7 years until 2016, when they parted ways.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in 2020, causing an uproar among his fans and family, who couldn't believe he could take the step.

Ankita Lokhande got married to businessman Vicky Jain in 2021, and they have been together ever since.
