On Monday, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival awards were announced and some of the incredible movies, television shows, and performances were lauded with recognition. While Alia Bhatt grabbed the 'Best Actress' award for Gangubai Kathiawadi, she also accepted the award on behalf of her husband Ranbir Kapoor for winning the 'Best Actor' award for Brahmastra.

Along with the power couple, many others were awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke award, thus adding another feather to their caps. While Anupam Kher won the 'Most Versatile Actor Of The Year' award, Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files bagged the 'Best Film' award.

The award ceremony was not just limited to Bollywood. Actor-filmmaker Rishabh Shetty won the 'Most Promising Actor' award for his South blockbuster Kantara. In the television industry, it was Rupali Ganguly's Anupama to win the 'Television Series of The Year.' Some veteran celebrities were also awarded for their valuable contribution to the film industry.

The 'Outstanding Contribution In The Film Industry' was awarded to the iconic actress Rekha while the late singer Hariharan won 'Outstanding Contribution In The Music Industry.'
