With February being the month of love, there are many good things coming your way. Vicky Donor fame Yami Gautam is pregnant and expecting her first child with filmmaker-husband Aditya Dhar. The two have been married for three years.

The couple is all set to embrace parenthood after three years of marriage. However, both Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar have been tight-lipped on the same.

Yami and Aditya met on the sets of URI: The Surgical Strike, released in 2019. She was the lead actress in the film, alongside Vicky Kaushal and Paresh Rawal. As for Aditya, he is known for movies like Runway 34 and Aakrosh.

The Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga actress is currently in her second trimester. Speculations about her pregnancy sparked after her recent public appearances, where she was seen covering her belly.


This seems to be a trend, as Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are yet another celebrity couple who are keeping their rumored second pregnancy away from the limelight.

Yami's delivery is due in May 2024. However, the actress-director couple has yet to announce the good news on social media. It is likely that they will make their pregnancy public soon.

The Bollywood duo met in 2019 on the sets of their film, URI: The Surgical Strike. It took the box office by storm in 2019. Yami Gautam played an Indian intelligence agent in the movie. It also featured Vicky Kaushal in the lead.

URI marked Yami and Aditya's first ever professional collaboration. They dated for two years before tying the knot in 2021. It was an intimate ceremony for the couple.

They got married at Yami's ancestral home in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. They were surrounded by only 20 guests, who were their close friends and family.

In an interview, the Kaabil actress opened up about choosing a simple wedding. She said, 'It was as simple as possible. Aditya and I are simple people, and we like to keep it like that. We are private and reserved and only wanted to share it with the world when the time was right. Even if there was no pandemic, I assure you, it would have been the same wedding. Nothing would have been different.'

For the wedding, Yami Gautam wore her mom's elegant red saree and a dupatta given to her by her grandmother. She did her own makeup and made the most ethereal Bollywood bride.

'We don't like wastage of food and never wanted a DJ wedding. We are both traditional we did our rituals, which we loved. We played traditional Pahadi and Kashmiri songs, Punjabi folk tracks, etc.There were just 20 people, but it was really memorable,' the actress added.
