Tiger 3 was released earlier this month and received wide praise for its action sequences, particularly those involving Katrina Kaif. Finally, the time has come in mainstream Bollywood when some nice parts are written for the female characters. Katrina Kaif's portrayal of ISI agent Zoya in the Tiger franchise has been loved by everyone.

She first played the character in the 2012 Kabir Khan directorial Ek Tha Tiger, where her performance was appreciated. She reprised her role in Tiger Zinda Hai, which was directed by Ali Abas Zafar and in which her character was further developed. Now, with over-the-top action sequences in Tiger 3, she has proved that Zoya is a character worthy of further exploration.

She was asked recently if she feels there is room for an origin story for Zoya, just like Tiger. She said, "The beauty of the spy verse that Aditya Chopra has created is that there's so much room and scope for all of the characters."

She expressed her desire to work on a film about the origin story of Zoya. She said, "My belief is that a good story and a good script should always deserve to be made. So if we get or if the team cracks an amazing story, which everyone's excited about, of course, why not? There can definitely be an origin story for Zoya."

Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif completed 20 years in the Bollywood industry recently. She had made her debut in 2003 with Boom.

Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma with a screenplay by Sridhar Raghavan. Produced by Aditya Chopra, it is part of the YRF Spy Universe and follows the story of War, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Pathaan. The film has been doing good business at the box office, with praise for its story and action.

The film also has a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. Along with that, there is an extended post-credits sequence that lays the foundations for the next film in the franchise, which is supposed to be War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan.
