Tiger 3 has been getting mixed reactions from audiences ever since its release on November 12. While the decision to release on the day of Diwali could have been the reason for the not-so-extraordinary run on the day, the film was picking up well after that.
Due to the World Cup Final, Tiger 3 faced a further hurdle as it managed to get just over 10 crore on Sunday at the box office. With the World Cup fever on the rise, people stayed home on Sunday to witness the match.
On the opening day, Tiger 3 did a business of over 44 crore, with 43 crore done in the Hindi belts. Further, there was a significant increase on Day, which was a Monday where the film recorded a business of 59 crore. However, due to the mixed word-of-mouth response and the weekday setting in, the film spiraled downward. On Wednesday, the film managed to do just 21 crore.

As the second weekend approached, there was once again some promise shown, with a significant increase on Saturday as compared to Friday. It was expected that the film would do even better on Sunday, but the World Cup Final proved to be a game changer.
The total collection of Tiger 3 till now is over 268 crore in India. It remains to be seen what further business the film does. The total budget of the film was reported to be Rs 300 crore.
Tiger 3 stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The film takes the story from Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan and is part of the YRF Spy Universe. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film is filled with a lot of high-action stunts featuring both Salman and Katrina. It has also grabbed eyeballs for the camoes by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Tiger 3 came out to be the highest-grossing film on Diwali Day. Apart from that, it has not broken other records of the year that were set by Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Jawan. This coming week will prove to be crucial for the film's overall box-office run and decide its ultimate fate.
