The first song from the Saif Ali Khan-starrer 'Chef' is out. Titled 'Shugal Laga Le', the song traces Saif's food escapades across God's own country, Kerala. Accompanied by his son, played by Svar Kamble and his friend, played by Chandan Roy Sanyal, Saif's character establishes his food truck in the hope to restore the lost connect with his son.Supremely sung, composed, arranged and produced by Raghu Dixit, the song also showcases the popular chorus 'thithithara thithithai thithai thaka thei thom' from the famous folk boat song, 'Kuttanadan Punchayile'. It sure is bound to get you dancing and hopping around. Ankur Tewari of Ankur and The Ghalat Family fame has penned the catchy lyrics of the song. For those wondering what does 'Shugal Laga Le' mean, the phrase is a Lahori slang which means 'to have fun'.Also starring South actress Padmapriya as Saif's wife, 'Chef' is the Indian adaptation of the 2014 Hollywood hit by the same name, which was directed by Jon Favreau, who played the lead as well.Directed by Raja Krishna Menon of 'Airlift' fame, 'Chef' releases on October 6th, 2017.
