Know Your Band: Aathma
May sound cute to the girls, but they like to call themselves a happy rock band.
Once during Hard Rock Hyderabad in 2015, Sidharth, the flutist left his entire set of flutes in an auto, but ended up buying a whole new set within the next hour. Such is the commitment towards music.
Besides playing for Aathma, the day jobs include being a lawyer, a filmmaker, a social worker, a scientist and an entrepreneur.
The band members include Anto Phillip on acoustic guitar, Prashanth G on bass guitar, Ritwik B on lead guitar, vocalist Vyshak V, Nikhil Abraham on drums and Sidharth Baradhwaj who plays the flute.
Aathma started as band from the famous Christ University, Bangalore.
Aathma, a Bangalore-based indie band prefer belting out music that addresses the most mundane topics of everyday conversation.
