Karan Johar introduces Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor at Dhadak Trailer Launch

Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who is known for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. He is seen here with wife Nalini Dutta.
Janhvi Kapoor steps into the role of Archi, played by Rinku Rajguru in the original. She plays the daughter of a shrewd local politician.
Ishaan will reprise the role of Parshya, played by Akash Thosar in the original. His character is named Madhukar, who is a humble Rajasthani boy.
