Jannat 2 -2012Yet another hit movie which can be accounted for Emraans successful inning so far. Jannat 2 opened strongly at the theatres and Emraan also crossed 100 crore mark! The character of Sonu Dilli KKC -Kutti Kamini Cheez was interestingly written and wonderfully enacted by this powerhouse of talent.

Dirty Picture -2011A movie that belonged to Vidya Balan will also be remembered for a yet another character that was integral to the plot. Emraans role of the young, aspiring director Abraham, who believes in making off-beat films, was hated by the audience for most parts in a rather positive way! He was Vidyas biggest enemy in the movie. Also as the films narrator, he took the film forward in his inimitable style.

Murder 2 -2011Though the movie was not a sequel of 2004s Emraan-Mallika starrer Murder per se, it managed to create quite a curiosity. It saw Emraan being cast opposite the hot and ravishing Jacqueline Fernandez. People expected the movie to be just another raunchy offering by the Bhatt camp. However, they were proved wrong by a strong plot, excellent characters and brilliant performances. Emraan was loved and worshipped by the lot and his popularity grew immensely post this movie. Suddenly every director wanted to work with the new star!

Dil toh bacha hai ji -2011Emraan tried his hand at comedy too with Madhur Bhandakars Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. Well, he was liked as a light-hearted character Abhay Suri, who is confused about the girl he loves. Audiences loved him in this role and he fitted well in the multi-starrer.

Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai -2010A movie that changed Emraan Hashmis career graph forever is Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. This film saw him essaying the role of the young Dawood-inspired character Shoaib Khan. Showing Shoaibs -Emraan rise and Sultans -essayed by Ajay Devgan decline was easy with these talented actors. Their styles, dialogues and look created quite a rage among the youth. Emraan proved his mettle as an actor finally and became one of the most sought after bankable stars. This movie remains etched in the history of blockbuster films and also in Emraans Bollywood career. He is going to feature in the sequel as well.

Tum Mile -2009A movie by ace director Kunal Deshmukh, Tum Mile saw an unusual pairing of Emraan with Soha Ali Khan. Their chemistry clicked and his role of Viraj Maholtra was nothing similar to his previous characters.

Raaz - The Mystery Continues -2009Playing the role of an aspiring artist, Prithvi in this film gave Emraan a new kind of exposure. Being paired opposite Kangana Ranaut helped him better his performance, and he was liked by all. Though the movie didnt do as well at the box office, it will be remembered as one where he slowly freed himself from the shackles of a stereotype image.

Jannat -2008The name of the movie, Jannat, itself is so beautiful that it had to make Emraan feel like heaven at the box office for the first time. Yes, his role of a bookie was well appreciated and he tasted success.
