The action-thriller stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in key roles.
1. The entire cast and crew became the first Indian citizens to fly outside the country amidst the first wave of the pandemic. The film has been shot in Scotland and London.
2. It is based upon India’s first ever covert operation. Akshay Kumar plays the character of Anshul Malhotra who goes by the code name Bell Bottom, a RAW agent
3. The film has been banned in three Gulf countries namely Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar for tampering with historical facts.
4. The film was the first theatrical release post the second wave of the pandemic and it resulted in a business of over 25 crores. The film will now witness its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video across 200 countries.
5. In an interview, Akshay Kumar said that the movie is based on real-life inspired events. The actors were given the creative liberty to fictionalize and dramatize the characters.
