Arjun Rampal: Hot Bod

Arjun plays a serious role in Rock On!, that of an unsuccessful musician of an estranged rock band. The actor proved his mettle in a different role than what he has done before. Arjun looked every bit of a young and handsome rocker in the movie. Audience was almost convinced that he was truly the best guitarist when he played guitar on-screen passionately in the chartbuster songs Socha hai and Pichley Saat Dino Mein and gave a marvelous act with the melodious song Tum Ho Toh. He received the Filmfare and the Star Screen award for Best Supporting Actor for this movie.Arjun in his career of nine years has done various kind of roles, then be it romantic, emotional or serious. Improving with every film, Arjun has tried his hands on a range of roles from commercial to art movies, but has found little success with any. But now that Rock On! has rocked the box office, tables might just turn in the favor of this chiseled actor.

Models cant act, Arjun zipped the lips of all his detractors, for once and all. A mighty laudable performance in his very first villainous role of Mukesh Mickey Mehra in 2007s blockbuster hit Om Shanti Om. Villains and goons never looked so perfect, ever; Arjuns Italian look at times completely overshadowed the great SRK himself. Power laced with charm made Mukesh Mehra a heady combination that even the scrumptious Shanti could not resist and thus, she falls prey to his fiery charm!

I See You saw Arjun turning to production. Taking the reins in his hands as a producer, Arjun roped in big stars for his maiden venture. By this time he had created enough goodwill in the film industry and thats the reason stars like Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan agreed to make an appearance in the movie. He chose to launch a new face Vipasha Agarwal in this movie. It was a light humored romantic flick where he falls in love with a mysterious girl. Lively song Subha Subha picturized on the smart and charming Arjun was a super-hit. Club song Halo Halo from the movie is still a fave at the parties.

Arjuns style quotient made up for his somewhat woodish performances. But, then came the remake of a cult classic- Don, and things were never the same. Don The Chase Begins Again was like a fortune cookie that spelled luck for Arjun Rampal. Portraying the role of JJ in Farhan Akhtars Don, Arjun performed like never before. Though the film celebrated the baadshah of Bollywood, Arjun stood tall along with Shahrukh Khan. The macho role fitted him perfectly and finally freed Arjun of the misappropriated chocolate-boy tag.

Arjuns striking looks attracted romantic roles and soon he got to play beauty queen Aishwarya Rais on-screen lover. It was an emotional movie with good music, especially songs like Dil Ka Rishta and Daiya Daiya re where Aishwarya tries wooing Arjun. With his hair slicked back and perfect Armani suits, he looked every bit the guy worthy of being chased by a beauty queen.

Moksha did not do very well at the box-office or got great reviews, but it got the much coveted attention for Arjun, as he became an overnight sensation with Jaan Leva. It opened the doors of Bollywood for him and he went on to sign more films. Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat was his second film and it starred actors like Aftab Shivdasani and Sunil Shetty, however Arjun was noticed among the lot. He romanced Keerthi Reddy in the title track of the movie. Looking out of place in the chocolate-boy-avatar, Arjun looked every bit uncomfortable shaking his booty on mountain top. But with those hot looks his sincerity cannot be questioned as he woos Keerthi on scenic mountains.

Moksha marked the entry of Arjun Rampal in Bollywood; here he was seen romancing the pretty young Manisha Koirala. Professing her love for Arjun, Manisha sings Jaan Leva; this became the fantasy anthem for women who just wanted to tie up this scrumptious married model! His ruggedly wild looks were quite apt to the lyrics of Jaan Leva.

Suave, sexy and super hot, this model has been a favorite ever since he stepped into the limelight with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khans Kinna Sohna Tenu. His chiseled Greek god looks had the women drooling and screaming his name. So guys, make way for hotness personified- Arjun Rampal.A very successful ramp model, Arjuns great looks and screen presence made the way into Bollywood easy; what became tough was success, as he initially fumbled through turkeys to finally Rock on the box-office gold!
