Here is the fifth episode of KATHAYAANA : In ancient times, all the great sages who resided in Satyaloka gathered together in the Naimisha forest. They approached the eminent sage Suta Maharshi, the gem among storytellers in the Puranic tradition, and inquired, "Oh, revered sage! You possess knowledge of the three times. If you bestow your grace upon us, please tell us about the supreme vow that grants all worldly fortunes." Suta Maharshi, pleased by their request, began to narrate the following: "O sages! Listen carefully. In this world, there exists a most exceptional vow called the `Varamahalakshmi Vrata.`
