Singer/songwriter and vocal artist from New Delhi, Tanya Nambiar’s relationship with music just gets stronger and more mature with every new release. A recipient of the VIMA Global Music award as the Best Female Act in 2019 for her single ‘Two Lost Souls’, Tanya has now released a trippy, electro-pop lounge single, ‘Midnight Run’.
Portraying the emotions of a protagonist wanting to forget her worries and dance the night away, ‘Midnight Run’ perfectly samples electronica influences laden with Tanya’s vocally rich pop vocals that instantly registers into the minds of its listeners.
When the catchy hook line loaded with heavy bass arrives, you’ll see yourself breaking into a jig instinctively. Produced by Rahul Rathi aka Atmus, the artwork of the track which sees a woman riding atop a giant motorcycle, reflecting her taking accountability for her life choices, has been designed by Ujjwala Bassi.
