Singer Amruta Kale releases Bhavani Ashtakam to mark Navratri

Singer Amruta Kale has released her redition of the powerful shloka Bhavani Ashtakam. Composed by Jaya Raja Kale the song is presented by Swaramrut Arts Foundation. Written by Jagatguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya Bhavani Ashtakam is a popular hymn on Goddess Bhavani (an incarnation of Ma Durga), who is known for her protection and merciful nature. The musical arrangement by Shantanu Herlekar does complete justice to the spiritual nature of the song while Amruta`s polished vocals are a treat to the ears.
Amruta Kale is a Hindustani Classical Vocalist , known for her versatile signing. She is the disciple and daughter of Pt.Raja Kale , the senior disciple of legendary and versatile Performer, composer and Guru Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki ji of Agra, Jaipur gharana tradition. She also had the fortune to receive tutelage under Sangeet Martand PadmaVibhushan Pt.Jasraj of Mevati Gharana .
