Earlier this afternoon, Netflix India dropped the trailer of its upcoming film, 'The Girl on the Train', the Indian adaptation of author Paula Hawkins' international bestselling novel across its social collaterals.Surely, the proceedings of the trailer have us hooked and waiting in anticipation of what will unfold before us as the film releases on the global streaming giant from February 26, 2021 onwards.The film follows the story of Mira Kapoor Chopra who suffers from amnesia and is holding a tragic past. She continuously gazes into the life of a perfect couple in order to recover from her hurt, from the train she boards routinely. An unexpected event suddenly rocks her world, spiraling her into an abyss of uncertainty and shock as she sets out to unravel the mystery behind a crime she can't remember from a night which is unforgettable.Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, who earlier helmed the Amitabh Bachchan-Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Vidya Balan starrer 'Te3n', 'The Girl on the Train' also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwary in key roles.
