Director Abhishek Chaubey who is known for his path-breaking, hard-hitting cinema is back after a brief gap of two years with a brand new rebel drama featuring dacoits of Chambal Valley in 'Sonchiriya'.Featuring a stellar cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranvir Shorey, Ashutosh Rana and Jatin Sarna, 'Sonchiriya' is about a group of rebellious dacoits who are up against the government during the Emergency period in 1975, and against each other in the bargain. Who will survive the battle of ultimate supremacy in the region is what the film is all about.All the actors are practically unrecognizable in their parts and it's absolutely commendable to see Sushant and Bhumi completely sink their teeth into these roles.
