"Working With Salman Khan Is Like Attending Gurukul," Sikandar Co-Star Abhilash

One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Sikandar, will soon see a theatrical release on Eid 2025. While everyone is going gaga about the story, seeing Bhaijaan back in action and Salman Khan-Rashmika Mandanna`s chemistry, actor Abhilash Chaudhary has heaped praises on his co-star.

Abhilash Chaudhary, who plays the lead antagonist in the film, shared his experience about working with the superstar. He said Salman Khan`s mental and physical strength is unmatched.

Speaking about his experience of working with the actor, Abhilash said, ”Being on set with Salman sir is like attending an acting Gurukul.”

“We worked together for nearly 100 days, and watching him in action—be it his acting, high-octane stunts, dance, or dialogue delivery—is truly awe-inspiring. His mental and physical strength is unmatched, and his ability to grasp and execute things so swiftly is a masterclass in itself,” he further added.

Abhilash essays the role of villain Deva in Sikandar. Speaking about his character, he said, “It feels invigorating to embrace a positive role after so long. But what makes this project even more special is the opportunity to work extensively with Salman Khan.”

This is not the first time Chaudhary will be collaborating with Khan. He reminisced about his big-screen debut in Tubelight, where he worked closely with Sohail Khan but didn`t get a chance to spend much time with Salman.

This isn`t Abhilash`s first stint as a menacing villain. He has previously donned the antagonist role in projects like D Company, State of Siege: Temple Attack, and the Telugu action thriller Konda.

He has also worked in films like The Zoya Factor, Paltan, Commando 3, Dabangg 3, and Ujda Chaman. Abhilash started his acting career with television serials like Udaan, Paramavatar Shri Krishna, Chandragupta Maurya, Mere Angne Mein, and Savdhaan India.

Sikandar will see a theatrical release on Eid 2025. This is not the first time Salman Khan is aiming to give a festive blockbuster. However, AR Murugadoss`s action drama will be released on a Sunday instead of a Friday.

In 2023, Salman`s film Tiger 3 was also released on a Sunday, which coincided with Diwali. Many film critics and trade analysts questioned this decision to miss out on capitalising on the festive weekend.

Apart from Salman Khan, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, and Pratiek Babbar in prominent roles.

Sikandar will release on March 30 in cinemas near you.
